I love vintage ads for one reason, their unapologetic sexism. It is very honest and that is refreshing. Men will buy things to get women, period. Why lie about it? Today’s advertisers are either putting out shitty work because they can’t think of something that is not sexist, or you get some really brilliant stuff because they are forced to think beyond “put a good looking girl with big boobs” in the ad.
